Runic Wisdom Inspired by Dartmoor

After decades of meandering ancient animal paths and communing with tree and sacred site, this landscape's beauty has filled my heart to bursting. Dartmoor speaks in rainbow, granite and golden grass. From valley to tor, the wildness teases out inspiration and instills love. The moors are my muse, and a great teacher of the runes.

As a guide, it has been my passion to help deepen people’s connection with nature. To help them understand the runes as nature’s language, a language that speaks to the heart. Seeing Runelore participants become more self-guided, open and growing into more fulfilled lives has been a privilege.

Futhark Journey's on dartmoor

Also known as a rune walk, is two-year course is available with limited spaces. The new in-take for students occurs every October. You will experience a new rune every month starting with an in-person session on the moors. You’ll then have a full month to work with the rune in your every day life before we move on to the next. During the month you'll be supported by written and audio content, plus a 2 hour, 1:1 session with me to review your progress, ask questions and get guidance. Rune journey’s are as unique as you are, so these 1:1 sessions are invaluable.

From understanding what supports us, what is good for our growth, joy, connection and much more, the runes take us on a journey into ourselves and into the natural world.

ABOUT ME

Lion-hearted, Moor-meandering, Rune-worker

I love roaming Dartmoor, it has been a great source of inspiration, and an initiation into a wild landscape that is so expressive in runic energies.

During my two decades working with the runes l did a 250 day ritual, that transformed how I viewed the runes and my relationship with myself and nature. The runes showed me a language to navigate these relationships. A language so fundamental it could describe how a tree grows as easily as it describes how my mind works.

I see the runes as an expression of the natural world, where I prefer to come into relationship with, rather than mastery over. Nature is my greatest mirror and offered me the opportunity to look at myself deeply, until all mirrors and illusions fell away, leaving my true self known and seen whilst building autonomy for self and other that has become a sense of belonging and being.
