Trees, Runes
and Movement
In collaboration with embodiment teacher Jamus Wood, who completed the Rune Lore course 2022 i am offering a unique opportunity to work with the rune Ac, the rune of the Oak tree in the beautiful wilds of Dartmoor.

Take your walking into the wild lands of Dartmoor. We will step beyond the veil of our familiar lives into wilder and old places of oak, moss and stone. Ac, the anglo saxon rune of Oak, will guide us into our relationship with strength and weakness, rootedness and community, cycles and seeds.
Together Jamus and I will guide you to drop down into your connection to self, roots, land and particularly the rune Ac and its representation in nature, the Oak.
This will be a day of meditation, nature connection, physicality and movement. Drawing from rune lore, embodiment movement practice and a listening relationship to the places and spaces of Dartmoor.
Jamus will lead you in developing a physical connection and relationship to Oak through movement, stillness and your body.
Duncan will guide you into discovering how nature speaks to you, through moss or bark, wind in trees, the runes are the language of nature. Through rune lore we will interpret natures speaking and our inner listening in a way that is personal to you and with relevant tools to take away into your everyday life.
We hope that this day will be a beginning or ending of cycles, a planting of seeds, of insights into your your relationship with Oak and the land. To bring insights into your relationship with strength, rootedness and community.
The day will include:
Walking
Somatic Movement in Nature
Developing a very personal relationship to Oak through the rune Ac
Meditations on the principles of the rune Ac
Runic Nature Connection
Sharing with one another and in the group.
